I just happened to bump on the report of this video on net. A taiwan variety show.
Dang, I always thought most of us, our standard of english is better than taiwanese? (As in compare to the whole pop. ) I find it very funny, they can't even complete a proper sentence in english & they're mocking at those who can speaks english way way better than them?
So what if it's singlish ? It's our trademark and only us, as a singaporeans understands.

From my point of view, it's very unique, & I like it! tho it's discouraged & affects our way of speaking proper english. Who cares? As long as it's understandable in SG!
Well, some singaporeans may not speak english fluently or may pronounce few words wrongly, but that doesn't mean they can labelled our command of english as a joke & conclude that all of us, our accent is weird and our standard of english is lousy just because they can't understand our accent. They are even more of them unable to speak even a proper sentence. Did we joke about it? :\
Now the celebrity in this video have made a grave mistake. They should learn well their alphabets before mocking at us. I think this will be a talk for quite a week on the net. Now the guy in this video become a laughingstock. Who is he to criticise us?
